| Wedding Chaos Survey - Wheels Come Off Wedding Car
The latest www.WeddingChaos.co.uk survey, with 1,250 votes, had a clear target for which wedding service would get the chop first - a little over 27% said that the wedding transport would be the first to go. England (PRWEB) April 10, 2007 -- Despite the ready access to bank loans there is still plenty of wedding couples who choose to keep tight budgets and cut out elements from the day that they feel are non-essential. Our WeddingChaos.co.uk survey, with 1,250 votes, had a clear target for what would get the chop first - a little over 27% said that the wedding transport would be the first to go. This finding is disconcerting for anyone providing wedding transport, perhaps there is a single reason that stands out from the rest - the increase in the number of couples getting married in a venue, able to conduct the civil ceremonies itself, the wedding breakfast, the evening reception and even offer accommodation for the bridal party.
Honeymoon And Wedding Cruises Gain Popularity As Onboard Options ...
Increasing numbers of wedding and honeymoon couples are saying "I do" to cruise vacations, according to the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), the premier marketing organization for 21 member cruise lines that collectively operate more than 175 ships, and 16,500 North American travel agencies. As the number of honeymoon and wedding travelers continues to grow, CLIA cruise lines are perpetually adding features and amenities that appeal to all types of couples looking for romance, and with all budgets in mind. Most CLIA cruise lines offer highly flexible wedding packages that feature a memorable way to wed or renew vows, which include such perks as candle-lit wedding chapels, photographers, bridal bouquets, wedding cake, champagne toasts with keepsake flutes and much more.
Consumers could save more on weddings
People could spend "far, far less" on their weddings if they make certain provisions, a special occasion product provider has said. Confetti.co.uk has recommended that the bride and groom-to-be save up for their celebration but that "there are ways of doing it a lot more cheaply" than the UK average of £18,490, as quoted by Weddingplan. Carol Richardson, spokesperson for Confetti.co.uk, said: "It is certainly true that people are spending a lot more, but you can make your own invitations, get somebody to bake a cake, get a florist that you know to provide flowers - there are ways of doing it a lot more cheaply." Weddingplan's research factored in the cost of wedding outfits, the church, flowers, transport, reception, honeymoon suite, stationery, photography, video, rings and the honeymoon, as well as the stag or hen weekend.
